How can you help us?
If your company offers grants or funding to great causes like Community Recycle Cycles, we’d love to hear from you. Such funding will help us provide technical and non-technical training to our volunteers or deliver community-based events such as Dr Bike.
Donations
Donated bikes are our lifeblood. Also bike spares and tools.
If you have an outgrown or unwanted bike, we’d love to get it back on the road.
We take donations anytime our shop is open.
Whilst we love to be able to collect bikes, we aren’t in a financial position to afford a van!
Corporate Social Responsibility days
If your company offers CSR days we have a few projects we simply don’t have the people, skills, or time to complete.
We’d love to hear from you if you’re able to offer support to complete tasks like renovating the roof on our storage space or building an extra shelf or two to keep our personal bags out of harm’s reach.
We also have opportunities to help our volunteers seeking employment by offering help with writing CVs or mock interviews.
Volunteering
We can’t function without the ongoing involvement of our volunteers and supporters. We have opportunities in the workshop, the shop, in administration and at our community events.
You’ll have seen in Meet the Team that our volunteers come from all walks of life – some are retirees looking to give back to a worthwhile cause, others are seeking new skills or to enhance existing ones ahead of gaining employment.
Whatever your reason, we will work together to identify an opportunity to optimise your skills and interests to deliver our business.
