On the 26th of September I attended the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Final Friday events as a speaker for Community Recycle Cycles, co-hosting the morning alongside UTC.
Having started the morning talking with many members of the chamber, me and my friend presented our speeches; our first time talking in front of an audience. We spoke about the environmental,social and personal impacts of CRC.
It was a nerve wrecking feeling but the relief and reward that the speech was over made the event a whole-worthy experience.
Hoping to gain experience in networking events and public speaking practice, I was surprised to receive those experiences and so much more.
A regret was I couldn’t talk to all the attendees during the allotted time but I look forward to another opportunity to learn more from all the incredible members of the chamber of commerce.
